Welcome to pre-kindergarten at Little Pearl Elementary School. We are happy that you have chosen to share your child with us. My name is Ann Ledbetter-Boushie and this will be my 24th year as an early childhood educator. I earned my BA in Elementary/Early Childhood education from the University of New Orleans in 1994. Over the years I have taught both Kindergarten and pre-k with the majority of my time spent in pre-k. I have taught here at LPE since the schools inception.
I live in Abita Springs with my husband, Dennis, and daughters, Eleanor (14) and Georgia (10). I enjoy reading, exercising, eating out, and spending time with friends and family.
I love teaching pre-k because my days are filled with wonder and excitement. There is no better job than that of teaching young children. I am blessed!
I am joined in the classroom by para-educator, Wanda Yates. Wanda has been a pre-k para-educator for 12 years. She loves to see the excitement on the children's faces when they learn something new. We are a great team and work together to ensure your chid's success!
