Mrs. Pauline Calderone - 10th Grade Counselor
Mrs. Calderone is a life-long resident of Slidell, Louisiana. She graduated high school from St. Scholastica Academy in Covington, LA and received her Bachelor's Degree in Health, Physical, and Safety Education and Master's Degree in Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA.
She has been in education for 31 years, teaching in St. Tammany Parish her entire career, including elementary, junior high, high school and adult education. Schools that she taught in include Boyet Jr. High (when it was a K-9 school), Coastal College, and Emerson Academy (a school for at-risk youth where she served as principal for 9 years.) She is a certified MASTER PRACTITIONER in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) which provides a practical understanding of how the brain works: how people think, learn, motivate themselves and change. NLP is about how people process and retrieve information and how this manifests into behavior.
Mrs. Calderone began working at Northshore High School in August 2003. The position of Counselor is where she remains to date.
