•     Hello! I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little about my background. My name is Lea Ann Dufrene, and I am the third and fourth grade special education co-teacher. This will be my second year at Lancaster, but the 15th year in my teaching career. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. I continued my education earning a license in Special Education and my master's degree in Gifted Education from William Carey University.

        My teaching philosophy is that all children can learn. It is my goal to get to know each child and his or her interests and learning styles. I will use this information to incorporate successful interventions and differentiation strategies. I will also ensure that your child has a learning environment where he or she feels safe and secure.
