Welcome to 4th Grade! My name is Mechele B. Frazier. I have been teaching over 20 years and was an Instructional Coach for a year and a half. I have been married for 25 years and we have a 16 year old son who attends Fontainebleau High and a 22 year old daughter who graduated from Fontainebleau High. We have been in the community over 10 years.
I graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and later earned my Elementary Certification. I have attended professional development for: Science, Math, and TAP.
I am very excited about getting to know you and your child this school year. Together, we can and will succeed in reaching your child's fullest potential!!!!!!!!!!

Math-We are focusing on adding and subtracting fractions and reviewing previous skills.
S.S. -We are reading Chapter 5, Lesson -1. This chapter is a comparison and contrast of the Northeast region's culture and way of life to other regions.
Science-We are focusing on, Chapter 6, "What are the life cyclyes of plant?"
ELA-We will read Chapter 10, 11, and 12 in, "The Cricket in Times Square Novel." Students will understand and be able to determine the theme of different stories. Also, students will continue working on identifying characters, setting, and events. In addition, we will review Point of View and continue working on Cold Reading assessments and writing task to prepare for state testing.
-Frazier's test will be given this Friday.
-Test papers will go home Wednesday. (Due back by Friday of this week)
