Sarah Beth James
  • Hi there! I am the Talented Arts Program Theatre teacher for the Fall 2017 semester, filling in for Denise Crais while she is on sabbatical.

I graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.A. in Communication - Public Relations and a minor in Spanish. From there, I came to the Big Easy where I obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Theatre Performance from the University of New Orleans. I have studied film performance with the New York Film Academy in Florence, Italy as well as scriptwriting and improvisation with the University of New Orleans Writing Abroad Program in Cork, Ireland. I am a player and board member for Funny Bones Improv, a nonprofit organization that performs comedy improv shows at various children's hospitals across New Orleans and Chicago.

I am thrilled to be working with the students and staff at Mandeville High, and I look forward to an enriching semester. Please contact me if you have any questions or are interested in helping out with our upcoming performances!
