WELCOME to Slidell Junior High School. My name is Rebecca Harvey and I will be your child’s RNC teacher this year. I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know you and your child a little more and am looking forward to a happy and productive school year.
We will be covering numerous interesting units with in-class projects to enhance student learning. I strive to maintain a safe, positive, upbeat environment for students to learn and grow.
We strive to promote good behavioral choices throughout the school day and will be working to earn class rewards for making good choices both in and out of the classroom.
This week we will be learning about Weather, Making Graphs, Grooming, and discussing how to appropriately Make the Right Moves, by using the Unique Curriculum. We will be reading the Leveled Reader, I Can Move and using News 2 You to talk about The World Series. We are continuing the Adapted Book, Call of the Wind.
