    TMS is…

Living, Laughing and Learning in Louisiana!

Welcome to fourth grade!  What an exciting time in your learning journey to be entering middle school.  I am looking forward to sharing the year with you as we live, laugh, and learn throughout the year.

We moved to Mandeville a little over a year and a half ago.  Being from Houma, Louisiana, the New Orleans area is like home to me.  After spending about eight years in Lafayette, Louisiana, we relocated to Mandeville, and what a great place to be!!! I am so happy to be here, and to be a part of the TMS family.

I believe that there should be a bit of fun in the learning process.  So, during the year, I know that we will experience lots of laughter while we learn and grow.

I truly have a passion for education, and I believe that we never stop learning.  I earned my undergraduate degree from Nicholls State in Thibodaux, Louisiana.  I then earned my graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as my Reading Specialist certification, from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  My career as an educator started fourteen years ago, and the time seems to have flown by!  I have taught ELA each year being an educator.  I have also been an Instructional Coach for the last two years.  I missed being in the classroom very much, so I returned this year, and I am very blessed to be here at TMS!!
