That means "Welcome!" .... to Spanish class at STJH.
Mrs. Clarisa Alejandra Sunsin was born and raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She moved to Kenner, Louisiana at the age of 11.
Mrs. Sunsin won 1st place Native Extemporaneous speaker at the SLU Foreign language competition in 1999. In 2003, she represented her country as Ms. Honduras for the Miss Hispanoamerica in New Orleans and placed third in the competition. She is a registered Spanish/English interperter for the State of Louisiana Supreme Court.
She has a Bachelors degree in Spanish from the University of New Orleans (2005) and teaching degree from Southeastern Louisiana University (2015).
She has been a teacher at STJH 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school year and looks forward to many more years of being a Wildcat!!!!
