Welcome to my Biology classroom!! I am very excited to be working with you this year.  I am teaching Biology I Honors and Biology II Dual Enrollment.  This is my 5th year at Slidell High School, with a total of 19 years of teaching experience.  I graduated from Slidell High School in 1994.  After graduation, I attended the University of Southern Mississippi and recieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1999 and a Master of Science Degree in 2006.  My teaching experience started at Lumberton High School in 1999.  I stayed at Lumberton High School for 6 years teaching Biology I, Biology II, Marine Biology and Zoology. I also created and coached the Pantherette Dance Team.  I then took a year off to pursue my Masters Degree.  After that, I moved to Hammond, LA where I taught Biology I at Hammond High School and coached the Torette Dance Team.  I stayed there for 2 years and then I transferred to the Southeastern Laboratory School.  I taught 4th through 8th grade science for 6 years.  Then, I moved back to Slidell where I have been at Slidell High ever since.
