  • I am excited to be teaching math at Mandeville Junior High again this year! This will be my 15th year of teaching math and my sixth year of teaching gifted junior high math. I have taught Acceleration to Algebra, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry Honors, Algebra II Honors, and Probability and Statistics. Needless to say, I love math!

I took a circuitous route to my teaching career. I have a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a M.S. from Georgia Tech. After working as an engineer for twelve years and becoming the mother of two boys, I decided to slow down and make family my priority. I finished my teaching coursework at Southeastern in Hammond. I have also taken gifted education courses through UNO, so I like to tell my students that I have gone to college four times and am still learning every day.

The best way to contact me is through e-mail or to leave a message with the office and I will return your call.
