  • Welcome to 7th and 8th grade at Slidell Junior High.  This is the entrance to Stephen Ford's Classroom.

  • This is my 6th year teaching at Slidell Junior High.  I graduated with an education degree from Southeastern Louisiana University with certifications in middle school math and social studies.  Since completing my degree, I have added certifications in Special Education and PE.  I enjoy working with your children.

Through this website, you will find information about my classroom as well as the Slidell Junior High Baseball team.

Welcome back to school.  I hope you are excited about another great school year at Slidell Junior High School.  Remember that our grading scale in Junior High is based on points.  It is important for students to complete and turn in all work.  In grades prior to junior high, if a student made 100 on one assignment and did not do another assignment resulting in a zero, the grades would be an A and an F averaging to a C.  In Junior High, the same grades result in a 50 - F average.  I will be working with your student to get assignments completed but late assignments do have a penalty.

Remember to send your student with needed supplies everyday.  Pencils, paper, notebook, etc., please resupply as needed.

Please keep up with your student's school progress through JPAMS.  If you do not have access, contact the school for the needed information.

Classroom assignments can be accessed through your student's Moodle account.
