I was raised in Picayune, Mississippi and began my teaching career at Pearl River Central in 2006 teaching Spanish 1 & 2 and Algebra 1 and also assistant coaching Girls' Soccer. In 2011, I moved to Covington to begin teaching at Covington High. I started teaching Algebra I and II and became the Head Coach of the Girls' Soccer Team. Until 2018, I taught Alg III and was the Girls' Soccer Coach before moving to Lakeshore. Currently, I am the Spanish I teacher at Lakeshore High.

I graduated in 2006 with Bachelors of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Spanish, History, & Education from William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Ms. In 2009, I graduated with a Masters of Education in History and, in 2014, a Masters of Arts degree in English from William Carey University.

On top of teaching at LHS, I also teach Online World Civilization I at Pearl River Community College and work part-time as a certified trainer & server at Movie Tavern, but secretly dream of jumping on a plane to travel anywhere and everywhere :)
