  • Welcome to the 2018 - 2019 school year!

This is my sixth year at Mandeville High. I will be teaching Geometry Honors as well as Algebra II.

My teaching philosophy is simple. Every student is capable of learning mathematics. I believe any student can be successful in mathematics by being constantly motivated by the teacher. The math needs to be presented in many different ways in order to gain the attention of different types of learners. A successful math class is one that provides student centered discussions, hands on activities, cooperative group projects, reflective writing, and technology. I create an organized, energetic, and positive learning environment that is encouraging to all learning styles. A successful math student is one that is confident and has developed reasoning skills that can be implemented in future math classes and later in life.

I hope we have a fun and exciting year!
