Hello and welcome to the 2018 - 2019 school year and to my Chemistry classroom.  I am teaching Regular Chemistry and Honor's Chemistry this school year.  This is my 8th year teaching at Slidell High School and my 16th year of teaching.  Teaching has always been a dream of mine.  I really enjoy what I do, and I work extremely hard to form a positive rapport with all of my students.  My students work very hard, and I challenge them to not only excel in Chemistry, but to also excel in all of their endeavors.

I graduated from The University Of New Orleans with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Secondary Education and a concentration in Chemistry.  In the past, I have taught Physical Science and Environmental Science.  I have attended professional development for science teachers on Eco friendly labs, on STEM, and tons of science laboratory workshops.  I have also participated as a teacher researcher at UNO, AMRI department.

I look forward to this new school year.  We will explore many topics including mesurement, matter, atoms, moles, compounds, and chemical equations.
