Nicole Roberts, 5th and 6th Grade Gifted Math/Science Teacher
Welcome! I am so excited to have you in my classes this year!
I grew up in St. Tammany Parish and graduated from Mandeville High School. Then I moved to Baton Rouge to attend LSU where I earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, a Master's in education, and an education specialist degree in curriculum and instruction. I began teaching gifted and talented students in East Baton Rouge Parish in 1999; I then taught 4th grade for 5 years at Episcopal High School. I've been at Lancaster teaching academically gifted students since it opened in 2011.
My husband, Brent, and I are the parents of two adorable girls. Hadley is 7 and Sadie is 6! We also have a German Shepherd named Cooper. There are lots of things I like to do outside of school. I love to read, cook, shop, and watch movies. I also love my LSU TIGERS!!!!!
It's going to be a great year! I look forward to getting to know all of you!
