Doug Fischer
  • I graduated from Pearl River High School in 2001. I went to Louisiana State University in the fall of 2001 where I studied Animal Science focusing in Animal, Dairy, and Poultry Sciences. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Science in December 2005. I then continued my college career at LSU where I worked on my Masters of Science in the college of Ag. I completed my Masters in Quantitative Genetics in August 2008. In 2008 I started the alternate certification program for teachers at SLU and completed the program in 2010. I obtained by FAA Commercial Drone Pilot license in 2018.

    I began teaching in August of 2008 at Covington High School teaching Biology. In 2009 I taught general science at St Tammany Jr High. In 2010 I began teaching Agriculture at Pearl River High School. This year I am piloting a drone engineering program for STPSB.
