Dr. Daphne Lowe
  • Hello CIE Family & Friends,

My name is Dr. Daphne Lowe and I have served as the assistant principal for Chahta-Ima Elementary School for almost six years now. I am completing my tenth year as an assistant principal for St. Tammany Parish School District.  I have served as the assistant principal for both Bayou Lacombe Middle and Chahta-Ima Elementary in Lacombe, La.

I have a bachelor’s degree from Jackson State University in Elementary Education and master’s degree in Elementary Education from William Carey College. I hold a specialist degree and doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi.  I have 13 years of teaching experience, consisting of lower elementary, middle school, and community college instruction.  Nine of those years include remedial and/or developmental reading instructional experience (assessing diagnosing, and correcting).

As an administrator I wear a variety of hats at CIE.  Working with our students and parents is my favorite task.  I truly love engaging with the students, teachers, parents and other community stake holders for Chahta-Ima Elementary school.  We are a close school family who work very hard, as well as together to meet the needs of our students at CIE.  Please feel free to contact my anytime if there is any way I may be of assistance.

     Yours Truly,

    Ms. Dr. Lowe =)
