Hello and welcome to my Talented Visual Art class portal. This is my 10th year as a TAP teacher in St. Tammany Parish. I am looking forward to another great year of collaborative learning, medium manipulation, and art fun. I love my Fontainebleau Jr. High family and all of the brilliant minds that reside here.

I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2006 with a BFA in Sculpture. Durring my school career, I worked as a gallery assistant for the Brunner Gallery in Covington, and Baton Rouge at the Shaw Center, as well as Southeastern Louisiana University’s Contemporary Art Gallery. I began teaching Visual Arts for Southeastern Louisiana University TRIO/Upward Bound Program from 2003-2005. I taught ceramic sculpture at Water Street Pottery Art School in Madisonville from 2007 - 2010. I became the Talented Visual Arts teacher for St. Tammany Parish in 2008 -present at Fontainebleau Jr. High.

The 2017/18 school year is going to be full of exciting happenings around FJH. I am looking forward to inspiring my art kids and helping to strengthen their art making skills as we move forward.
