Mrs. Wendy Bott
Welcome to the exciting world of Pre-K! I am delighted that your child will be in my class this year. I realize that teaching your child is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility. I will do my best this year to ensure that your child has a motivating and safe learning experience within the classroom. I feel that this will be accomplished with outstanding results by all of us working together as a team. With your encouragement, as well as my own, your child will be a part of many exciting and rewarding experiences this academic year. We have a very exciting year in store for us that I feel will be very rewarding.
A little information about me:
I have a Bachelor’s Degree with dual certification in Special and Regular Education from Southeastern Louisiana University. I am certified to teach Special Education grades Pre-K-12 and regular education grades 1-8. Of my graduating class from SLU, I was chosen by my college professors to receive the prestigious award of Exemplary Graduate in Special Education 2008, as well as, The National Dean’s List, an honorary award in which only ½ of 1% of the nation’s college students receive. I have taught 6th grade and Preschool Early Intervention/Blended.
I love shoes, photography, traveling, mountain hiking, reading in my hammock on rainy days, going glamping in my Glamper/Teardrop and spending time with my family.
