Hello, and welcome to the Talented Music Program at Mandeville High School. This is my 11th year teaching this program at MHS. The class is considered an enrichment program for students who excel in the field of music. Students will increase their knowledge of music in the areas of history, theory, performance, creativity, and music skills, and students will be encouraged to master new challenges each year.

I have a piano performance degree from LSU in Baton Rouge, and a Master's degree in piano performance from NSU in Natchitoches. I have always maintained a private piano teaching studio. I have also been involved over the years in choir, jazz band, accompanying, and musical theater. Two of my favorite musical experiences have been as church musician and as a member of a rock and roll "Top 40's" band.

I look forward to this new school year and working with our MHS students!
