I graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1995 with a BS in Agricultural Education and again in 1997 with a MS in Curriculum and Instruction.

I have been teaching now for 21 years, with 11 being here at Pearl River High.

As an FFA Advisor first,  our chapter was one of the ten 2014 National Finalists in the National FFA Models of Innovation for Chapter Development, and I was awarded the LACUE Louisiana State Winner as Secondary Teacher of the Year in that same year.

I am currently certified to teach Agriculture, Meat Processing, NCCER: Core, Welding Levels 1 & 2, and Carpentry Level 1, and the Louisiana Advanced Forestry curriculum.  I am an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector and Educator.  I also currently hold the Certified Nursery Landscape Professional (CNLP) lifetime designation by the Louisiana Association of Nurserymen.
