Hi, Historians, and welcome to my classroom! This is my 11th year teaching and my ninth year as a Creekside Gator. I love teaching, travel, and history, and especially love teaching the young historians in St. Tammany parish.
I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a B.A. in History (International Relations) and a Master's Degree in Teaching. As part of my professional development, I have traveled all over the world looking for awesome and amazing teaching resources to share with my students. I am also a teaching fellow and adjunct lecturer of Tulane University's Southern Institute for Education and Research, specializing in Holocaust Studies.
In addition, I am the sponsor of Creekside's History Club. We are one of the strongest, largest and most active clubs on campus. Please look for upcoming information about the club.
I look forward to working with you this school year as we travel the world together studying History and Geography.
