    4th Grade Teacher

    Math, Science, Social Studies

Welcome to 4th Grade, where we are "Unlocking the Mystery of Learning!"  I am very excited to welcome you to our classroom this year!

As a life-long resident of Louisiana, I am thrilled to be able to teach in our awesome state.  I graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2000 with a degree in elementary education, and I have taught 1st, 4th, and 5th grades.  My teaching career began in Jefferson Parish, and I moved to St. Tammany in 2007.  After my first 8 years, I took a break from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom while my children were young.  This is my 11th year as an educator, and my 3rd year here at Lancaster.  LES is an awesome place to teach, and an awesome place to learn!

When I am not teaching, my husband, Ray, and I are kept busy by our 3 beautiful children, ages 9, 7, and 5.  We enjoy many different outdoor activities, and we love to watch the Saints and the Tigers play!

Fourth grade is an amazing year of growth, both academically and developmentally.  My goal is to provide a nurturing, supportive, and academically challenging environment where my students will learn to become more organized, independent, and self-directed in their learning.

Please feel free to email me at any time with your questions or concerns.  I look forward to keeping the lines of communication open throughout the school year.
