Hi and welcome to my page. I have been in some sort of teaching position since 2000 when I accepted a position at Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans teaching the staff various computer software applications. In 2006 I began working at Whispering Forest Elementary as a para-educator, where I stayed for 5 years. In 2011, I resigned from the school board and became a full time student to earn a BA in Education. I am a graduate of Delgado Community College and Southeastern Louisiana University. Currently, I am certified in Social Studies and English. A Master’s degree is in my future, but what that will look like is currently unknown.

My husband and I married in 1998 and we have 2 children, both of whom attend SHS. (1 Freshman & 1 Junior) I am an Alumni of Slidell High School (C/O 1992) and am proud to have been teaching at my ammeter since January 2016.

This school year I will be teaching US History, aahhh the land that I love, and am excited to be able to give my students a different perspective of our great nation (or is it?). In my class, students will gain a deeper understanding of how we got where we are today and why things are the way they are.
