Greetings and welcome to Brock Elementary where we are excited about, "Saddling Up for Success" this school year. This is my 18th year in the teaching profession. I taught fifth grade Math, Science, and Social Studies curriculum.  This is my 12th year at Brock Elementary. I transitioned as Technology Resource Teacher this school year and my passion is  to assist students and teachers to reach their highest potential.

I graduated from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina  in the Spring of 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2004, I obtained my Masters degree in Elementary Education from Xavier University at New Orleans. However, the drive to continue being a life-long learner empowered me to seek a  Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Xavier University, Spring 2016. In spite of all my accomplishments, the greatest one is being the proud mother of two humble and beautiful children, Tyrone III and Nyla.

I look forward to the 2017-18 school year and everything that it has to offer. Brock Elementary's overall initiative is to  place great emphasis on academic growth through the extensive use of data and explict instructional planning. As a tight-knit school where there is no "I" in teamwork- we are "Saddling Up for Success!"
