Hello, and welcome to Mandeville High School,
As I enter my 11th year of teaching Special Education at Mandeville High and my 26th year of teaching, I am reflecting on the many Special Needs students that have come through my classroom. From my early years in St. Bernard Parish to my relocation to St. Tammy Parish after Hurricane Katrina, success for my students is what inspires me to make a difference in the classroom. I teach in the Reduced Numbers Class which is set up with a smaller Teacher/Student ratio to give individualized instruction based of the student's specific needs.
After Graduating from Chalmette High School, I received an Associates Degree from Delgado Community College, a Bachelors Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, and my Special Education Certification from the University of New Orleans.
Mandeville High School and the Mandeville community have been a wonderful place to work and I am excited to begin another year at MHS. The administration and staff here at MHS will work hard to make the High Schools experience a great one and we look forward to the challenges that lie ahead.
Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to assist you with or any question you may have.
