    Ms. Clayton was raised in Abita Springs, Louisiana and is a third generation graduate of Covington High School.  She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry Education, with a minor in Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University. 

    Ms. Clayton has previously taught at Salmen High School in Slidell, and at St. Bernard High School in Violet, Louisiana. She has been teaching at her alma mater since the fall of 2005.

    She has experience teaching Chemistry I, Chemistry II, Environmental Science, Biology I, Biology II, AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Science, General Science, Integrated Science, GEE Remediation, Integrated Math I, Introduction to Health Careers, and Medical Terminology.

    Star Wars, cute kitten and sloth videos, old movies, and Bob's Burgers are her current obsessions.
