D'Lara M. Carter

Hello! I would like to take the opportunity to formally welcome everyone to my classroom. This will be my 15th year teaching. This is my twelfth year teaching at Bonne Ecole Elementary. I consider myself very fortunate to be among a professional faculty. I love teaching and ensuring my students receive the best learning experience ever!  

I graduated from Southern University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education for grades 1st -6th. Later, I earned  my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a plus 30 in Mild/Moderate Special Education grades K-12. I am a continual educator, in which I attend professional development conferences throughout the year to stay abreast with innovative practices.

I am delighted about this new school year and look forward to a fantastic and fun filled year!
