Lori Clements-BrandonWelcome to the 2018-2019 school year! I have been an educator for the past 21 years. I have worked in 4 different school districts, 2 states and 7 elementary and middle schools. I have served as a teacher in grades PreK - 2nd as well as 5th and 6th grades. During my years in the field of education, I have also worked as Pre-school Early Interventionist, a Middle School Interventionist and a Technology Resource Teacher. I have been a member of the Alton community since 2007 and this is my third year as Assistant Principal!I am certified and licensed in both Louisiana and Nevada. I am a graduate of Southern University at New Orleans where I earned a BA in Elementary Education, Xavier University of Louisiana where I earned my MA and +30 in Early Childhood Education, in addition, I am a graduate of Arkansas State University where I earned my EdS in Educational Leadership. I am currently working towards my PhD in Educational Leadership.I am the mother of two college students and have been married for sixteen years. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading, event planning and adding pins to my multiple pinterest boards!I am an avid learner, passionate about the education of children and committed to the development of global thinkers and productive adults. In my current position, I am committed to the advancement and progression of the students and families of Alton Elementary and its community! I am excited about this school year as our students and teachers have hit the ground running!I am always excited to share in positive dialogue with the parents and families of my students.
