Hello!  Welcome to my classroom.  I am thrilled to be your child's Second Grade teacher this year.  This will be my 14th year of teaching, and the start of my 8th year at Woodlake.  At Woodlake, I have taught Second Grade for six years and Third Grade for one year.  Prior to Woodlake, I taught for six years at Riverside Elementary in Pearl River, Louisiana. While at Riverside, I taught First Grade for two years, Computer Lab for three years, and Third Grade for one year.

I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Government. Then I graduated from Louisiana State University’s Paralegal Studies Institute.  After several years, I returned to Southeastern to obtain my Certification in Elementary Education.

I look foward to this new school year.  We will cover many interesting topics and take some wonderful field trips.
