My name is Mitch Brocato. I am a Science/CPR/EMR/First Aid instructor at PRHS. I graduated from Nicholls State University in 1999 with a degree in biology and got my teacher certification in 2004. I have been a teacher at PRHS for 15 years and graduated from PRHS in 1994.
I am a nationally certified EMR and hold a medical license for EMR in the state of Louisiana through the department of EMS. I also hold a certification to teach BLS CPR through the American Heart association.
I am the head outdoor and indoor track and field coach. I am also an assistant football coach. I have been part of the Pearl River community since 1983 when my family moved here for my Dad to accept the head football coaching position. Teaching and coaching at PRHS are two positions I take very seriously. I will always be at PRHS. The people of this community mean a great deal to me and I will do everything in my power to insure that it remains strong.
