I have been at Mandeville High school since 2003. Before coming to MHS I
worked as a purchasing agent at a chemical factory in Mississippi, a communications
consultant for Southwestern Bell and AT&T in Lawton, Oklahoma, and as an
adjunct lecturer for Central Texas College at the Bamburg, Germany campus.
I received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Cameron University,
Lawton, OK, in 1979, and I received my Oklahoma Teaching Certificate from
Cameron University in 1987. I became certified in business education in
Louisiana in 2007.
My industry certifications include Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word 2013,
MOS Excel 2013, MOS PowerPoint 2013, and NRF Foundation Customer Service Certification.
The mission of the business classes at Mandeville High School are to equip
students with a marketable skill that will facilitate their college
experience or provide a means of income.
