Mrs. Jamie Mullet
This year is exciting because it's a year of change and new beginnings! After teaching first and second graders for the past five years, I've made the move to third and fourth grade. What a great group of kids! I see familiar faces and some new faces too. This will be my 20th year teachig and my 6th year in Special Education at BEE.
I have lived in Slidell since 2004, but I'm originally from a small town in southwest Oklahoma. I attended the University of Oklahoma and received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at the University of Central Oklahoma in 1996. After college, I taught for 5 1/2 years in Arlington and Dallas, TX. In 2008, I received my Master's degree in Special Education from Southeastern Louisiana University.
When I'm not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family and firiends. I have two children. My son is a fourth grader at BEE and my daughter just started 7th grade at Slidell Jr. High. When we are not working or in school, we are often at the soccer field. As a family we enjoy traveling, spending time on the water, or relaxing at home. I'm excited about this new school year and I can't wait to learn all about my students!
