Hello and welcome to Slidell High School. I am looking forward to a positive school year.  I am dedicated to our students and community.  Together, we can accomplish great things.

I graduated from Clinton High School in Clinton, Louisiana.  I then attended Southeastern Louisiana University where I obtained a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education.  I began my teaching career at Slidell High School in 1979.  This is my thirty-seventh year as a high school principal, serving nineteen years at Northshore High School, two years at Silliman Institute, and currently on year sixteen as Principal of Slidell High School.  I served on the State Commission on Secondary and Middle Schools from 1993 to 1998 and on the Beta Club State Coucil from 1992 to 2009.  I received the St. Tammany District PTA Honorary District Life Membership Award in 2007, and was named St. Tammany Principal of the Year in 1987, 1992, 2005, and 2011; Regional Principal of the Year in 1993, 2006, and 2012; and State Principal of the Year for 2012.
