  • Welcome to the Mandeville High School Library. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and assisting you with both your research needs and your recreational reading requests.

I have been the librarian since 1992. I hold a BA in English from Tulane University and a MLIS from LSU. I acquired National Board Certification in Library Media in 2003. I am the sponsor of the MHS Reads! Club and the Ethnic Food and Culture Club.

The MHS Library shares the objectives of the State of Louisiana as stated in Guidelines for School Media.

♦The hub of a learning-centered school is an effective school library media program.

♦A quality library media program improves student achievement.

♦The best measure of the effectiveness of a library media program is the extent of its impact on student learning.
