Rebecca (Becky) Crain has been a professional educator for over thirty years.  She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Nicholls State University and her Master of Science Degree from LSU.  She attended classes at Nicholls and Southeastern Louisiana University for her +30 Graduate Hours.  Her Gifted Certification was earned at SLU and Northwestern State University.

Ms Crain will be teaching Chemistry, Gifted Biology, Gifted Chemistry and AP Chemistry II.  She is coordinator for the Gifted Program at PRHS.

Ms Crain is generally available to work with student before and after school.  She encourages parents to e-mail her whenever they have a question or concern.  She also encourages parents to help their students study biology/chemistry on a nightly basis.  (Ask questions.  If your student can explain why there are only two significant digits in the number “41000” yet six significant digits in “41000.0” then he/she probably understands the concept of significant digits.)
