Hello and welcome to my classroom here at Slidell High School, "The High School".  This is my 31st year teaching.  I taught four years at Salmen High School and 19 years at Northshore High School.  I moved to Miami in 2007 and returned to Slidell in 2010.  I decided I still wanted to teach and was fortunate to be hired here at Slidell High and thus beginning my 7th year.  I truly enjoy teaching and believe we have one of the best schools in St. Tammany Parish.

I graduated from Universtiy of Southwestern Louisiana now known as UL, in 1980 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration.  Later, I decided to pursue teaching and received my masters degree in Math Education from Loyola University. I have also attended professional development for teaching the dual-enrollment classes.

I look forward to the 2018-2019 school year.  I am excited for the return of many of my students from last year and meeting plenty of new students this year. Those students taking Honors Algebra II will be very prepared for Pre-Calculus the following year.  Those students taking Pre-Calculus will be prepared for taking Calculus their Senior year or for their first year of Math in college.
