My philosophy as a teacher is that all students can learn when they are accepted for who and where they are in their educational journey. Additionally, effective learning must be a collaboration between teacher, students, and parents based in mutual respect and trust. I believe that learning takes place best in a positive safe environment filled with laughter.
Our class mission is that our class is proactive and works hard to be the best that we can be and work together to help others be the best they can be.
This is my 20th year in St. Tammany Parish. Thirteen of those years have been as a classroom teacher and six as an Assistant Principal. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of New Orleans, an Alternative Certification in Education from Southeastern LA University, and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Southeastern LA University.
I am honored to be your child's teacher. I look forward to working with you and your child.
