I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our students and parents to Little Oak Middle School. I believe this year will be filled with rewarding adventures! My goal is to provide a learning environment that is safe and provides academic excellence to all.

Our faculty and staff have been busy all summer preparing for the new year. We have lots of new faces that have joined our Little Oak team. I feel confident that their addition will be a positive force on our campus. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing administrative team, faculty, and staff.  Our success would not be possible without our awesome students and supportive parents.  I certainly appreciate you all.

    A Little About Me

I began college at University of West Virginia and completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1993 at Southeastern Louisiana University. I began my career at Clearwood Jr. High in 1993 teaching 8th grade English/Language Arts and also completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Leadership in 2004. In 2009, I furthered my education by completing +30 graduate hours in Elementary Principalship. I have been a Technology Resource Teacher, a Parish Wide Administrator, an Assistant Principal, and now serve as Principal of Little Oak.  I am a National Board Certified Teacher and a lifelong resident of Louisiana who proudly attended kindergarten through twelfth grade in the St. Tammany Parish School System. My four children are also students and graduates of the St. Tammany Parish School System. Through all of this, I've learned that being a part of the Northshore Learning Community is the greatest place to be!
