• Sylvia Brown Hi, my name is Sylvia Brown and I have been teaching at Salmen since it first opened as a high school. I got my B.S, degree at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and my M.ED from Loyola University in New Orleans, LA. I love teaching and love my students. My class is called RNC which means Reduced Numbers Class. This means we have a limited number of students so that we can design learning strategies that are appropriate for their exceptionalities.  I'm looking forward to a great year and pray that all goes well for the entire Spartan family.

I have previously taught Health and Physical Education, coached Basketball and Track, was an IEP Coordinator, Counselor and am now back to teaching this present class that I love.
