I am a certified Suzuki Piano Instructor and have served on the high school division faculty at the Interlochen Center for the Arts National Music Camp for several summers. My biography has been published on the National Dean's List and received an Outstanding Achievement Award for Scholastic Excellence from the University of New Orleans at its Graduate Convocation in 1992.

I have been married for 28 years and have 3 children. My oldest just finished a master's degree at DePaul University in Chicago. My middle child is a graduate student at Loyola University in New Orleans and my youngest is starting graduate school in Occupational Therapy at St. Augustine University (Florida) in January 2019.
