  • Destiny Online Catalog

DESTINY is our online database of the library book collection at LOM Library, and it can be accessed 24/7 by students, faculty and parents.  Students can log in to their personal Destiny accounts by using their 8 digit student ID number and password.

Destiny Library Manager integrates and centralizes our circulation, cataloging, searching and reporting functions into one flexible library management system that supports and strengthens a collaborative learning community. The enhanced content can only strengthen the library/classroom connection.

Library volunteers shelve books, straighten shelves, complete teacher orders and make deliveries, assist students with the online electronic card catalogs, locate books, and help with the book fair.

  • Mission Statement:

Our library is our place for lifelong learners!

Library Hours

  • 7:05-2:36

  • I have taught a total of twenty-two years and possess a School Librarian Certification from McNeese University, an undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University, and a Master’s degree as a Reading Specialist with Gifted Certification from University of New Orleans. As a teacher, I find that learning occurs for all engaged; whether, the individual is a student, a teacher, or a parent. Therefore, I am accountable for every life that I touch, and how I touch it. As LOM’s librarian, I am blessed to be a part of your child’s educational experience.
