About the Teacher!
Señora Rose M. Pichon
Sometimes I can't believe how fortunate and blessed I am! Everyday I get the chance to pursue one of my passions –teaching Spanish!
Foremost, I believe my passion is being a life-long learner, and motivating my students to acquire another language and appreciate diverse cultures!
Some of the benefits to knowing another language includes ease in travel, fosters communication and shared experiences with other cultures,
advances your intellect to learn other subjects, and the list goes on.
My career teaching begins its 22nd year in the St. Tammany Parish School system.
Although I have collected many extraordinary experiences over the years, my recent claim to fame is that I climbed ‘Machu Picchu – one of the Seven Wonders of the World.” During my days working with NASA and Lockheed Martin, I met over a dozen astronauts.
PASTTIMES: Globetrotting to discover international cultural festivals and events; hanging out at family gatherings, traveling to different parts of the United States and other countries.
